Dix Management Meeting called to order by Meryl Boyd at 7:35 pm Minutes from the last meeting were amended by Larry Patrusevich. Amend shoot report: Larry Patrusevich won the 28 ga. At Ft. Dix in April with a 96. Amend coment on using the same printer as last year for the State Programs to maybe use the same printer as last year. Tony Yovnello will submit insurance policy certificate to Ft. Dix to hold the state shoot. At the same time he will submit a letter asking to hold the shoot at Ft. Dix on August 25-27, 2006.
Treasurers Report Reported by Tony Yovnello. Expenses: $ 550.00 Income: $ 104.25 Balance in account as of April 30 - $ 4,284.13 Petty Cash - $ 9.00 Ed Whitman submitted $16.00 from the Florham Park shoot held in May. Old Business Tony contacted Lonesome Charlie and ordered the leather prizes for the State Shoot. He dupicalted the order from the 2004 State Shoot just changing the year on the goods. Lonesome Charlie will trade product for an ad in the program New Business Ed Whitman brought to the table the Wayside shoot overlapping incident. He claimed according to the bylaws, which were presented by Meryl Boyd , a second shoot for the same day should not have even been in question. Ed is concered that a precedent had been set by letting Wayside hold a registered open shoot the same day as Central Jersey on May 21. Letters need to be drawn up and sent to all shoot management at all clubs pertaining to shoot dates being submitted. The bylaws states that the dates should be presented the meeting after the annual state meeting. It was discussed that all dates be submitted by Oct. 1 for the new season and will be disgussed at the Oct meeting. Shoot managers should be present to solve any conflicts. If not present the date will go to the club with representation. If dates are not submitted by Oct. 1 they will not show up on the NJSSA schedule. Ernie have volunteered space at Ft. Dix. He will creat an archive for state material.
State Shoot Ft. Dix will donate $100.00 toward the t-shirts given out at the state shoot as long as the location is printed on the front of the shirt. Front design will read the same as last year. Meryl Boyd submitted the art work for this years State Shoot shirts. Meryl will get a price quote on the computer generated graphics on the t-shirts from Awards of Brick. All shooters will receive shirts and pins. Dinners will go to all participants shooting 2 or more guns. 4 gun participants will get a dinner and themselves and one guest. The book needs to be proof read. Tolga should have the ads in by June 15th. All corrections should be made at the June meeting. Larry was given the state team and most improved names for the book. . Shoot Reports Florham Park had a .410 shoot on May 27. Won by Lew Petryk with a 98. 16 participants.
Central Jersey had 4 gun shoot on May 20 and 21. HOA was Jim Hilton with a 381. Carol Abernathy won her first gun title shooting a 95 in the 28 ga. There were 96 guns. Pine Belt had a 200 doubles shoot on May 13. Mike Modelle won with a 197.
Hall of Fame Report Given by Ed Whitman. 2 definite candidates have been picked out. Letters will be sent out to them. Next meeting date set at June 28 at Fort Dix at 7:30 pm Motion was made to close meeting by Ed Whitman. Ernie second it. Meeting called by Mike Brown at 8:35 pm. |
