February 11th, 2017 Officers Meeting Minutes
Officers Meeting Location: Pine Belt Sportsman Club - The meeting was called to order by Ben Galioto at 11:05 a.m. Three Officers were present.

Treasurer's Report: Nick Pino, Treasurer, notified the officers and club members that our current balance is $2,800. The Treasurer's report was accepted.

Old Business: Three blast emails have been sent to all NJ clubs throwing registered targets notifying them that NJSSA fees were increased to $0.03 per target or $3 per 100 targets. This motion was passed in 2016.

New Business: NJSSA applied for and was granted its non-profit status via an annual certificate with the State of NJ. In addition, NJSSA and all NJ clubs throwing registered targets paid their registration fees with NSSA. Also, each member club paid has paid their fees to NJSSA. Hence, each club submitted their schedules to NSSA and Skeet Certificates have been submitted and mailed by NSSA.

Open Discussion: We discussed at length the cost of shooting an event for both the Inaugural 2017 Big Blast Championship and the 2017 NJ State Skeet Championship. The cost per gun for the Big Blast will be $42 per gun and $8 going back to class. Both Russell Paul and Ben Galioto agreed to add $25 for each gun champion (12-20-28-410) and $50 for HOA Champion. The gun cost for the 2017 NJ State Shoot is $45 per gun with $8 going back to class. Again, this year our State Shoot will be a money shoot. Like last year our Gun Champions, HOA Champion and HOA Champion Runner-Up will receive State Championship belt buckles.

Referees will be paid a flat fee of $6 per shooter with no exception. We will do our best to put together full squads for our referees, but referees will be paid according to how many shooters make up their squad, rather than a flat fee. Please keep in mind that this pertains to both the 2017 Big Blast Championship and the 2017 New Jersey State Shoot.

Motion to adjourn meeting by Russell Paul and seconded by Ben Galioto at 12:05 p.m.
